Permit to Carry
HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT:
We provide a STANDARDÂ Permit to Carry Class for those who are
well versed in handguns or who want to renew their permit.
We also provide an ADVANCED Permit to Carry Class for those who are
new to handguns and would like more hands-on practice before heading to the range.

When dealing with firearms, it is important for your instructor to inspire trust. Sealed Mindset has come together with Range Systems, a company that has spent the last 12 years in the firearms industry, to provide you with the most comfortable environment for learning as well as the best training resource possible for your permit to carry experience.
Objective:
At the end of this class, a student will have been fully exposed
to four main points so that each student is aware of the
topics critical for responsibly carrying a firearm in Minnesota:
1. Legal requirements of carrying in MN
2. Physiological effects of a violent encounter
3. Psychological effects of a violent encounter
4. Safe weapons handling culminating in a basic live-fire event

Firearms safety and children in the home
Safe storage and accessibility
How to avoid conflict
How to defend your life
How to defend yourself without firing a round
The realities of defense with a firearm
The different levels of force and how to shift between them
How to interact with 911 and responding police officers
Equipment Requirements:
We provide all necessary equipment, ammunition and range fees for the course at no additional charge.

Classes and live-fire activities occur at Sealed Mindset’s private facility in New Hope, MN: 5121 Winnetka Avenue N., Suite 200, New Hope, MN 55428.
Cost:
$125.00 per person (Standard Permit to Carry Class, 5 hours long)
or
$250 per person (Advanced Permit to Carry Class, 8 hours long)
