Minnesota Permit to Carry

Practical Permit to Carry – $250

This in-depth, comprehensive, full day class combines our Basic Permit to Carry class with our Defensive Shooting 1 class to provide students with the legal knowledge and firearm familiarity skills necessary to survive in an increasingly dangerous world. This course is a practical, hands-on course that offers an ideal experience for both novice and experienced shooters through repetition of shooting fundamentals .

  • How firearms and ammunition work
  • Skill 1: Safe loading and unloading
  • Skill 2: Stance and basic movement
  • Skill 3: Grip
  • Skill 4: Defensive use of sights
  • Skill 5: Trigger control
  • Skill 6: Technical and tactical follow through

Our team provides a longer, more complete range session with professional instruction as well as a live scenario to help you better assess your capabilities and limitations when it comes to daily carry. We cover how to deter through the language you use, and how to call 911 to protect yourself legally.
